I was born in Lima, Peru, as a member of a second generation of Chinese immigrants and arrived in San Francisco in 2007 when I was 14 years old. The U.S. financial crisis was starting to take its toll around that time making life complicated for my family. Despite this adversity, our cultural values and virtues always led us to make life decisions that kept us moving forward.

When I received the opportunity to intern at MEYERS+ I found a team of professional innovators that combine passion, experience and teamwork to provide first-class engineering services no matter how complex a project may be. By utilizing top-notch software tools, I will continue to use the best of my abilities to assist in carrying out their mission of creating high performance and sustainable design solutions.

Did you know?

A type of cuisine named Chifa that fuses Peruvian and Chinese Cantonese elements together was created in the coast of Peru by Chinese immigrants coming mainly from the Guandong province between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Its name was derived from the term chī fàn which means “to eat rice or to have a meal.”
