Susie is a Principal and the President of MEYERS + ENGINEERS. With more than 25 years of experience, Susie leads and manages high-performing, multi-discipline design teams on the largest and most challenging projects. Susie delivers excellence in client service and technical design for a wide variety of project types including research laboratories and sustainable tall tower design with several projects achieving LEED® Platinum certification. Susie is passionate about great design and collaboration and truly enjoys working with clients and design teams to find simple, innovative system solutions that create greater flexibility and performance for our clients’ projects. Susie received her BS degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Susie was recently named one of the San Francisco Business Times Women of Influence.

Randy Meyers, PE
Randy is the Founding Principal and Chairman of MEYERS+ ENGINEERS. With a career spanning over 40 years, Randy has provided leadership in engineering, project management, and client service on some of the world’s largest and most complex projects. His experience encompasses a wide body of work across diverse market sectors including aviation, civic and government, corporate and commercial, cultural, historic preservation, hotel and resort, residential, mission critical, retail, sports and transportation. Randy has assembled a team of accomplished and experienced principals and engineers dedicated to bringing a renewed spirit of client focused service and engineering excellence to our clients. Randy received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering with honors from Union College, New York in 1978.

Joe DelPozzo, PE LC LEED AP BD+C
As a lifelong New Yorker, Joe’s career has spanned across many market sectors with significant expertise in Life Sciences and Healthcare projects. Joe’s first laboratory project was a $200M laboratory in the Bronx winning a 2008 ENR award; continuing on to a strong 13 year working relationship with a growing pharmaceutical firm in Westchester County; becoming the campus Master Engineer for a major mid-town healthcare institution; to designing the first occupied “green” commercial office Tower in New York City to receive a LEED Gold Rating; and master planning and designing a 32 acre state of the art academic training facility in Queens, NY.

Wayne Gaw, PE LEED AP BD+C
Wayne is a Principal and Director of Mechanical Engineering at MEYERS+ ENGINEERS. In a career spanning over 22 years, Wayne has provided engineering leadership and expertise on a broad range of prominent and challenging projects including the Transbay Transit Center – San Francisco, Mineta San Jose International Airport North Concourse, the Atlanta Falcons New NFL Stadium, MGM Aria Casino Resort – Las Vegas, and the Nanjing Olympic Plaza Tower. His innovative approach to design combines long-range vision with a conscientious focus on sustainability and operational performance. Wayne received his BS in Building Services Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. In 2010, he was named a top professional in Consulting-Specifying Engineers’ 40 Under 40 Awards.

Mike Giangrave, PE LEED AP BD+C
Mike is a Principal and Director of Electrical Engineering at MEYERS + ENGINEERS. With over 25 years of experience, Mike has provided electrical engineering design and project management across multiple market sectors within the built environment. He specializes in high rise commercial/residential/hotel and large scale mixed-use buildings in the United States and Asia. Mike has extensive experience working on local Bay Area projects including retail, UC and CSU campuses, high rise residential, museums, and commercial tenant improvements. Mike is focused on building collaborative environments internally with design staff as well as externally with client and consultant teams. Mike received his BS in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University and is a registered professional engineer in several states.

Ethan Gould, PE
Ethan is a Principal and the Director of Plumbing & Fire Protection at MEYERS+, where he leads the department across all office locations. As a licensed Fire Protection Professional Engineer, Ethan brings a wealth of technical expertise to every project he oversees. With over 22 years of experience in the industry, Ethan has worked on a diverse range of high-profile projects across all market sectors, both domestically and internationally. His career highlights include playing a key role in the design and implementation of the first certified LEED Platinum Laboratory project, as well as leading the plumbing and fire protection development of complex vivarium and BSL-3 labs. Additionally, Ethan has contributed to over 15 Federal Government Embassy projects and has been involved in significant infrastructure projects such as the NYC Police Academy, large-scale multi-tower complexes in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and high-rise towers across the United States. Ethan takes great pride in his ability to develop creative, efficient solutions that not only help architects and owners bring their vision to life but also ensure the overall functionality, safety, and sustainability of each building or project. His passion for innovation and his commitment to excellence allow him to deliver exceptional results while meeting the unique needs of each client.

Adam Kyle, PE LEED AP
Adam is a Principal, mechanical engineer and Director of the building performance team at MEYERS+, overseeing a range of modeling, analysis, and sustainable design consulting. He has over 20 years’ experience developing pragmatic designs that blend passive and active design strategies. Adam approaches each building understanding its unique challenges, and how to leverage experiences from the past while bringing fresh perspective, ideas, and problem solving to the table. Adam has driven MEYERS+’s approach to cost-effective decarbonization across a range of challenging building types. Examples include the mass-timber San Mateo County Office Building 3, ~1M SF high-rise office tower at 200 Park, a below-market-rate high-rise residential building at 921 Howard, life science laboratories, higher-education buildings, and existing building retrofits. He has also led creative passive design solutions that deliver comfortable, healthy spaces with reduced reliance on mechanical cooling and ventilation systems in buildings such as California College of the Arts, 50 United Nations Plaza, and the Daniel K Inouye NOAA Pacific Regional Center. Adam has contributed to numerous iconic cultural and institutional projects such as San Francisco International Airport, UC Davis Shrem Museum, the SFJAZZ Center, and Mercedes Benz Stadium. Over his career, Adam has had opportunity to work across a spectrum of environments and climates, including temperate coastal California; hot, humid locations in Hawaii, Atlanta, China, and Australia; arid, desert climates in Arizona and inland California; and colder climates such as Salt Lake City and Seattle.

Patty McCaffery, PE LEED AP
During Patty’s 27-year career as a professional engineer based in the New York area, she has completed projects in a various market sectors including corporate interiors, performing arts, cultural and most notably the federal market sector. Patty has successfully led a design practice focused on working with the federal government both internationally and domestically having completed projects in 40+ countries on 5 continents. Her portfolio of completed work has ranged in scope and complexity from master planning studies to major renovations and new construction. Patty has executed projects through a variety of delivery methods including design-bid-build and design-build. Most recently, Patty was responsible for overseeing the engineering design of three new diplomatic campuses totaling over $1 billion dollars in construction.

Paul McGrath, PE LEED AP BD+C CPD
Paul is a principal at MEYERS+ Engineers, and brings with him a wealth of engineering design and project management experience. His expertise spans multiple market sectors including high rise/commercial mixed use, retail, residential, office, laboratory, tenant interiors, convention centers and higher education. Paul specializes in high-rise residential, and has led the design for many significant projects in Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose, including 100 Van Ness, The Pacific at 2121 Webster, and 706 Mission – The Mexican Museum. Paul believes that collaboration, great teamwork, and enjoying what we do are key to a successful project. Paul received his Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland, and is a licensed Mechanical Engineer in California.

Frank Muscarella, PE LEED AP
Over Frank’s 27 years of experience, he has completed projects across multiple continents, with a focus on commercial, residential, and hospitality market sectors.  His career got off to a fast start as one of his first projects included a building that would become at that time the tallest building in the world.  Building off of those early experiences, he had the opportunity to design a new 52 story, 1.5 million sf, corporate headquarters building in New York City that included many sustainable features such as an Underfloor Air Distribution System, a 1.4 MW cogeneration plant, automated lighting and shade systems, and a high efficiency façade.  A few years later, a corporate headquarters project he designed would receive the first LEED double platinum certification in New Jersey, and only the 5th in the USA.  He was recognized for his achievements in 2012 when he received ENR Magazine’s 40 under 40 award. Most recently, he was the Engineer of Record for an award winning $2 Billion, 2 million sf, high rise residential community in New York City.
