As a child, I wanted to become a mason, just like my father. He spent most of his work life restoring old and often historically significant buildings, in Poland and in Germany. Some of them were hundreds years old palaces and castles. He also built our family house, hence my firsthand construction experience. I eventually grown out of the idea of being a mason, but my appreciation and interest in architecture have remained to this day.

After graduating from University of Szczecin in Poland, I moved to the USA to pursue new opportunities. I settled in San Francisco, where I experienced different job fields. One of my biggest passion has been always photography. California offered the world’s best subjects, from beautiful landscapes to architectural marvels. I enjoy being outdoors and I travelled all over the west coast and beyond, going on photo adventures with friends. Over time I became a professional photographer, specializing in weddings and real estate.

In 2016, following my wife, I moved to Illinois. I continued my photography career, but I knew I wanted to do something new. Combining my computer skills and interest in architecture and construction, I enrolled in a local community college, where I earned certificates in AutoCAD and Revit. Soon I was able to utilize my new skills as a CAD specialist at a company in Illinois. Though the company was very interesting, I wanted to work on more complex projects therefor Meyers+ meets such high standards as well opportunities.
