I was born and raised in a suburb of New York City. After graduating from high school, I followed my sister to Villanova University where we both graduated from the School of Engineering. I returned home after graduation and my first job was with a local consulting firm, but my dream was to work for a top consulting firm in New York City. Three years later I responded to a “help wanted ad” in the New York Times and I became a design engineer in one of the premier firms in the City. It was around this time that I enrolled in Manhattan College where I completed my master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Early in my career I was given the opportunity to work on projects of varying scale and complexity in locations all around the world. I learned the skills to overcome the unique challenges associated with working overseas whether it was altitude, extreme heat or cold, site access or even political unrest. It has been my experience that principal oversight through the progression of projects from design through construction is essential to successful completion. In joining MEYERS+, I will be working with like-minded individuals and I am excited to be part of the team opening the New York Office.

I met my husband on a blind date that was set up by our manager. And then we had four kids in four years...All girls! I am also a terrible cook. I tell the girls, "it is not burned, it is just extra crispy!
