Two of my great grandfathers were homebuilders in my hometown of Rochester, New York. Growing up I took great pride in driving around town with my Dad as he pointed out the many houses that were designed and built by my great grandfathers’ bare hands. I loved that they helped build the community and shaped the future of my hometown. Today I am driven by this same passion, not only to build a community, but to design sustainable cities. Someday I hope to show my great grandchildren all of the ways in which I have played a small part in shaping this beautifullly built world that we live in.

Did you know?

If I wasn’t an engineer... I would be a professional bike racer. I spend my spare time pedaling on, or off, road in the bay area, enjoying the incredible terrain we are fortunate to have. I raced road and cyclo-cross in college (University of New Hampshire) and for several years after college. I have met most of my friends, and my husband, through bike racing. I am “retired” at the moment, but hope to get back in to the racing scene again soon!
