Michael Gianfrancesco
Mechanical Designer

When I was growing up, I was constantly hearing about engineering since my dad was a civil engineer working in NYC and I loved to learn about his experiences working on the Second Avenue Subway project. Getting through high school, I slowly realized that I excelled in math and science and decided to attend Manhattan College to enroll in their engineering program just as my dad did before me. Through my schooling, I was able to see that engineering was the right choice for me as I found it easy to be passionate about. Day in and day out, I found myself dedicating more and more of my time towards my major to ensure that I was giving it my all, laying the groundwork for a good future. In 2022, I graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering and was more than happy to earn an opportunity with Meyers+ the same year. I look forward to a challenging yet rewarding career at an amazing company, with great mentors.

Did you know?

I’ve been very interested in computers since I was a kid and considered a career in the field of computer engineering. Recently, I built a desktop PC that serves as the main desktop in my house. I plan to hopefully build another soon and get more familiar with the process, but it is a rather expensive hobby.
