Growing up in Wenzhou, China back when it was an undeveloped village with lagging infrastructure, I remember the cold winter days when all the families in our neighborhood sat outside together sunbathing to keep warm as houses were not equipped with heating systems; Or on hot summer days, tying a watermelon to a net and dropping it in our water well in front of our house and waiting impatiently for it to cool. Life was good.

It wasn’t when I arrived in New York on New Years Eve and firsthand experienced a heated home! a fully stocked cold fridge! Flushable toilets! Instant hot water! Life was way better!

It was those key memories that guided me to study Engineering. I wanted an opportunity to contribute and provide meaningful solutions to problems that will benefit people and society. I started my Electrical Engineering career in 2006 and have worked on a wide range of different building types. I am thrilled to be part of the Meyers+ team, a conduit to continue my passion.

Did you know?

My family enjoys skiing and winter has become one of our favorite seasons. My oldest son loves to ski and I learned skiing late in life to keep an eye on him and safe on the mountain. Today, him and my younger two sons have surpassed my level and they keep an eye on me when we are on the mountain.
