Felipe Gomez
Electrical Engineer

During my sophomore year of high school, my guidance counselor introduced me to the ACE Mentorship program. The program united high school students to full-time architects and engineers from various companies to design real life projects. This is where my interest in becoming an engineer consultant began. On my second year in the program, I met Dennis Yuan (former F + K employee), who was one of many incredible mentors that helped nurture and grow my interest even further. This eventually led to obtaining my first real internship in 2010. Throughout my college years, I continued the internship and was fortunate enough to assist in various types of residential, commercial, and life science projects. After graduating with an Electrical Engineering degree at The City College of New York, I took a short 2-year break in Thailand. When I returned to the states, I became a full-time employee and had the privilege of becoming the lead electrical engineer on even more amazing projects. It’s an honor to now become a member of the Meyers+ team filled with individuals of extraordinary talent, knowledge, and skills where I look forward to designing engineering excellence.

I started playing NYC handball professionally in high school after realizing that all other sports didn’t provide the excitement and drive I was looking for. I travel to various handball parks in Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan challenging individuals of all kinds to improve my skills further with the determination of winning more tournaments as well as getting a solid workout.
