Donovan Quiocho
Electrical Engineer
Growing up in the Puget Sound region of Washington and attending college in the state, I would have been surprised to learn that I would eventually end up in the San Francisco Bay Area. Throughout my life, I have always been fascinated by understanding how both the simple and complex aspects of the world around us came to be and why they were constructed the way they are. During my time at Gonzaga University, I discovered this through engineering, particularly in project engineering and renewable energy systems.
Months after graduation, I moved to San Francisco to pursue a career in the renewable energy industry and sustainable building design. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in both the built environment and the renewable energy sectors. Through these many projects, I’ve learned that no two projects are the same, each presenting its own unique challenges and opportunities.
Relocating to the Bay Area has been an exciting journey, allowing me to grow both professionally and personally. I am excited to continue collaborating with the talented team of engineers and clients we have here at Meyers+. These projects allow me to continuously learn more about innovative solutions and advancements in all aspects of design, contributing on spaces for people to live, work and shape the world we live in today.
