Growing up I always had an interest in science and engineering. In Middle School I joined the Science Olympiad team, a competition team focused on different sciences and engineering. I found myself drifting to the engineering events and from there it’s history. My love for engineering, design and building was set in stone. I continued Science Olympiad through high school on my way to study engineering in college.
At Manhattan College I studied Mechanical Engineering and received both my Bachelor and Masters of Science. Upon graduation one of my friends from college let me know they had an opening for a plumbing and fire protection engineer and that I should apply for the job. I was unsure at the time what a plumbing and fire protection engineer was, but my friend ensured that I would love the job. He was right. From day one I was working on large and exciting projects ranging from large residential buildings to commercial buildings and sports arenas. It is just as exciting as it was day one seeing buildings I help design in the New York City Skyline.

Growing up I was an avid musician. I played clarinet from 3rd grade through college in the school bands and pit bands for musicals. I played bass for the jazz bands and various garage bands my friends and I would start. I would also play guitar, upright bass and bodhran for a fiddle group. My love for playing music continues to this day.
