AIRBNB AT 999 BRANNAN
The project includes the renovation of the existing building and interior improvements for Airbnb at 999 Brannan Street in San Francisco, California. The 4-story building comprises 150,000 square feet of workplace areas, and basement and rooftop parking. The atrium, encircled by a large spiral staircase inside, illuminates the interiors with abundant natural light.
The tenant improvement work includes workplace, offices, phone booths, conference rooms, branded specialty rooms and circulation spaces. There is a large kitchen/servery and multipurpose room on the 1st floor and a café on the 3rd floor.
The project has achieved Greenpoint Certification.
The project delivery method was design-build. MEYERS+ provided the permit & construction documents and construction administration services. M+ is the electrical engineer of record.

ENGINEERING FEATURES
The electrical distribution system was replaced with new equipment to support Airbnb’s workplace and foodservice loads.
Over-floor raceway systems for power and technology cabling was installed on top of carpeting throughout the tenant areas, eliminating costly core drilling through concrete post-tension slabs.
Emergency distribution from the existing generator was provided to support the new atrium smoke control system.
